Title: Cell Image Library Dataset CIL:39728
dateReleased:
02-13-2012
description:
TEM images of reconstituted chromatin prepared from 12-mer tandem repeats of a strong nuclear positioning sequence and purified histones. Samples were fixed with glutaraldehyde, applied to carbon films, and shadowed with Pt. (A, B) samples without linker histone H5 fixed in 5 mM NaCl; (C) Sample with H5, fixed in 150 mM NaCl; (D) sample with H5, fixed in 1 mM MgCl2. See Fig 1 in: S A Grigoryev et al. 2009 Evidence for heteromorphic chromatin fibers from analysis of nucleosome interactions. Proc Natl Acad Sci USA 106:13317-13322
