description:
In the study 270 people were recruited through a crowdfunding source. They sent their feces samples for a metagenomic 16S sequencing according to a provided protocol, filled lifestyle questionnaire and got diet recommendations in return, which the were to follow for 2 weeks. After this period, 248 of them sent second time point samples for sequencing. We have studied short-term diet intervention influence on healthy gut microbiome and its association with long-term diet and other factors.
